According to the Statistics Center of Hana Human Rights Organization, between February 14 and February 21, 2025, at least 13 Kurdish citizens were arrested, summoned, and interrogated by security forces without judicial warrants.
Arrests:
- Shirko Tabnak, a resident of Bukan, was arrested by security forces.
- Shirzad Namdari, from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces.
- Yahya Moradi, a resident of Javanrud, was detained by security forces.
- Omid Feqeh Hosseinzadeh, from Mahabad, was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location.
- Afshin Alizadeh, from Herikan village in Salmas County, was arrested by security forces.
Summons and Interrogations:
- Javad Sawari, a resident of Divandareh, was summoned, interrogated for several hours, and later released.
- Seven civil activists from Sanandaj—Sohrab Jalali, Kamal Fakourian, Mokhtar Asadi, Fatemeh Zand Karimi, Jamal Asadi, Jamil Amini, and Zahra Mohammadi—were summoned to the city’s prosecutor’s office on charges of “disrupting public order and peace.”
