Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Sunday, 22 December 2025, Soran Yousfi, a citizen from Salamat village in Bukan County, West Azerbaijan Province, was granted temporary leave from Bukan Central Prison for a period of four days.
Soran Yousfi, 37 years old, is married and has one child. He was previously arrested on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, to serve a four-year discretionary prison sentence and was transferred to Bukan Central Prison.
According to reports received, this citizen was sentenced by Branch Two of the Bukan Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Fakhri, to four years of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the system.”
It should be noted that Mr. Yousfi had earlier been arrested on Wednesday, 4 December 2024, by security forces at his private residence and was temporarily released on 8 December 2024 after posting bail in the amount of 600 million tomans.
