According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, a 33-year-old Kurdish citizen named Sirous Rafie Beigi, father of two children and a resident of Karzan in illam Province, was shot on Friday, January 9, 2026, while crossing the street carrying his young child, by direct shotgun fire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to received information, this shooting resulted in the complete loss of vision in both of his eyes, leaving him fully blind.
Sirous Rafie Beigi is a laborer and, due to his economic situation, cannot afford the costs of medical treatment. It should be noted that, so far, no doctor has taken responsibility for treating his eyes, and his medical condition remains in complete uncertainty.
