The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Siavash Shirzad, a resident of Tehran originally from Bukan, lost his life on Thursday, 8 January 2026, after being shot directly with live ammunition by repressive forces.
According to Hana’s sources, security forces of the Islamic Republic prevented the family from receiving his body for burial in Bukan. As a result of this obstruction, the family of Siavash Shirzad was forced to transfer his body for burial to Tazeh Qaleh village.
