According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, a 31-year-old citizen identified as Shaho Hashempour, a resident of Oshnavieh County, was arrested after being summoned to the Intelligence Office of this county.
Hana has learned that Mr. Hashempour was arrested upon reporting to the Intelligence Office following the summons and was subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
It should be noted that, as of the time of publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reason for the summons or the place of detention of this Kurdish citizen.
It is also worth noting that Abas Hashempour, the father of the aforementioned individual, has been arrested several times and subjected to pressure in past years.
