According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, a citizen identified as Seiran Shawleh from Mahabad was arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces during a raid on her home, without any judicial warrant.
According to the report, Shawleh’s arrest occurred while her husband, Jalal Sadafi, had been detained by the Intelligence Ministry forces on December 15, 2024, and is currently being held in Mahabad Prison under temporary detention, with his situation remaining unresolved.
It is worth noting that Seiran Shawleh had previously been summoned to the Intelligence Ministry’s Mahabad office on February 4, 2025, where she was interrogated for several hours and threatened with arrest.
