According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early morning of Thursday, July 10, 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Hamed Shami, a resident of Piranshahr, married and father of one child, was arrested by security forces.
According to information received from a reliable source, security forces raided his home without presenting any judicial warrant, conducted a search of the premises, and arrested him.
The source further stated that despite several days having passed since Hamed Shami’s arrest, the efforts of his family to obtain information about his whereabouts and condition have so far been unsuccessful.
It is worth noting that Hamed Shami had previously been arrested by security forces on charges of “collaboration with a Kurdish opposition party to the Iranian government,” and was released after enduring 25 days of interrogation.
