According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization:
On Thursday, June 19, 2025, another citizen from Mahabad, identified as Pouria Nasiri, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
Pouria Nasiri is a law student at the Islamic Azad University of Mahabad.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Nasiri was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant, in one of the streets of Mahabad.
It is worth noting that in the past three days, at least three citizens from Mahabad have been arrested by security forces.
