According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, an environmental activist identified as Mohammad Ali Veisi, a resident of Saqqez, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, the arrest of this environmental activist was carried out by security forces at his workplace without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
It should be noted that on the same day, Sirwan Khodakarami, a civil activist from Saqqez, was also arrested by security forces.
