Hana: On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Amir Sidi, a resident of Mahabad, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of any judicial documents and transferred to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of this report’s publication, no information is available regarding the reason for his arrest or his place of detention.
It is worth noting that Mr. Sidi was previously arrested in August 2023 in Mahabad and released after six months on bail of 4 billion tomans. Following his release, Branch 2 of the Orumiyeh Revolutionary Court sentenced him to three years of discretionary imprisonment.
