The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that at dawn on Sunday, 21 December 2025, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as Rastin Karami, a resident of Sanandaj County, was carried out at Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to Hana’s sources, Rastin Karami was arrested approximately four years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
