As part of the ongoing wave of widespread arrests across various cities in Kurdistan, two Kurdish citizens from Orumiyeh have been arrested by security forces.
According to received reports, in the early hours of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, two citizens identified as Afshin Azizi and Kako Azizi, residents of Dizaj township in the Margavar district of Orumiyeh, were arrested by security forces.
According to Hana’s sources, the security forces arrested these two Kurdish citizens at their homes without presenting any judicial warrant and used violence during the arrests. They were then transferred to an undisclosed location.
