According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, August 8, 2025, Saber Omari, a construction worker from the village of Broshqalan in Salmas County, fell from the sixth floor of a building under construction and died.
Reports indicate that this young worker died after being transferred to Khomeini Hospital in Orumiyeh. The lack of adequate safety equipment continues to claim the lives of workers daily in these areas. According to Hana Human Rights Organization statistics, this is the fifth worker to die due to workplace accidents in the past two months.
