As part of the ongoing wave of widespread arrests in Kurdish cities, at least four residents of Piranshahr have been arrested by security forces.
According to the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, June 20, 2025, Ahmad Mam Sharifi and Seyed Rahman Hosseini, from the village of Silveh in Piranshahr, were arrested at their homes without the presentation of any judicial warrant and were transferred to an undisclosed location.
Additionally, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, Sadegh Mahmoudnejad, one of the individuals injured during the Jina movement in Piranshahr, was arrested by security forces and also transferred to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for their arrest or their current whereabouts.
It is worth noting that over the past three days, at least four citizens from Piranshahr have been arrested by security forces under unknown charges and without judicial documentation, and taken to undisclosed locations.
