Nazila Marufian was re-arrested in Saqqez

Based on the reports received; On Saturday, July 8, 2023, Nazila Marufian, a journalist and student of Allama Tabatabai University, from Saqqez and a resident of Tehran, was arrested after being summoned to the Evin Prosecutor’s Office.
According to reports received; On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the security forces searched Nazila Marufian’s personal home and confiscated some of her personal belongings, including her laptop and mobile phone.

Also, the security agents told Mrs. Marufian to go to the Evin courthouse.

In February 2023, by the 26th branch of the Revolution Court headed by Judge Afshari, Nazila Marufian was sentenced to two years in prison, 15 million Tomans fine,  and banned from leaving the country for five years on the charge of "propaganda activity against the system and publishing falsehoods with the intention of disturbing the public mind through the publication of an interview with the father of #Mehsa_Amini" 

It should be noted that Nazila Marufian was arrested by the government forces on Sunday, October 30, 2022, due to an interview with Amjad Amini, the father of Zina Amini, and after 72 days, she was released from prison on Monday, January 9, 2023, with a heavy bail of 600 million Tomans.
