According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: Nazila Marufian, a Kurdish journalist from Saqqez and resident of Tehran, was released from Qarchak Varamin prison today, Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
By publishing a picture of herself without the mandatory hijab, Nazila Maroufian wrote; "Do you regret the photo you posted when you were released? Do you agree that you made a mistake? No; I didn't do anything wrong."
