The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that Morteza Jahanbakhsh, a resident of Ghezlkan village, Chenaran County, lost his life during the nationwide protests of January 2026 after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to information received by Hana sources, security and military forces violently suppressed protesters using military-grade weapons.
