According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, 9 January 2026, Mohammadreza Mansouri, a 26-year-old Kurdish citizen and the father of an infant, was severely injured after being shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in the city of Rasht. He was struck by three live bullets.
According to received information, following his transfer to Poursina Hospital in Rasht, this citizen remained under medical care for 25 days and ultimately died from the severity of his injuries on 1 February 2026.
