According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Sunday, 7 December 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Mohammad Mostafa, 24 years old and from Mahabad County, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Mostafa was detained at his family home by security forces without the presentation of any judicial documents.
It should also be noted that during the arrest, security forces confiscated several of his personal belongings, including his mobile phone.
