The Hana Human Rights Organization has reported that on the evening of Friday, February 20, 2026, a 33-year-old married Kurdish kolbar named Mohammad Matlabi, from the village of Alvatan in the Mirabad district, was severely injured by direct gunfire from border guard forces.
According to Hana’s sources, Mohammad Matlabi sustained serious injuries to his leg and was transferred to medical facilities for treatment.
