According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Mohammad Dastbaz, a blogger and resident of Zarineh Obato in Divandareh County, was summoned to the Intelligence Office of this city.
According to Hana’s sources, the reason for his summons and interrogation was his criticism of the lack of public services such as electricity and water, rising prices, unemployment, the municipality’s poor performance, and the authorities’ negligence.
A source familiar with the case stated that after several hours of interrogation and threats of arrest, Mohammad Dastbaz was temporarily released.
The Kurdish blogger also posted a video in his Instagram story reporting the insulting behavior of the Zarineh municipality officials during his summons.
