As part of the ongoing wave of arrests across various cities in Kurdistan, a Kurdish citizen from Abdanan was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Monday, February 2, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Mohammad Amin Safari, from the village of Haft Cheshmeh in Abdanan, was arrested by security forces.
Hana’s sources report that the arrest took place around 3 a.m. through a raid on his home and was accompanied by violence and severe beatings.
