According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Meysam Nazari, a 20-year-old citizen from Kermanshah, lost his life after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in the city.
According to Hana’s sources, his body was handed over to his family only after pressure was exerted on them and in exchange for the payment of 700 million tomans.
