Mariwan / Sentencing of Elham Naderi Monfared to Two Years in Prison

According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, Elham Naderi Monfared, 32, daughter of Naser, originally from Nowdeshah and residing in Mariwan, has been sentenced to two years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of this city, presided over by Judge Ehsan Rouhichiane, on charges of what was described as “propaganda against the regime.”

Based on Hana’s information, out of this sentence, 21 and a half months have been suspended, while two and a half months are enforceable and must be served.

It is noteworthy that Ms. Naderi Monfared was summoned by the Mariwan Intelligence Office and faced security charges following the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, after she had published a story on social media.
