Yesterday, 18 detainees from the village of Ney in the Marivan city were released on bail from the Sepah Intelligence Detention Center.
According to the report received for each detainee, a document worth 150 million Tomans has been handed over as bail.
These citizens had previously been arbitrarily tortured and detained on charges of participating in the Nowruz celebrations and supporting Iranian Kurdish parties.
The identities of the detainees are as follows:
1- Payam Arjangi , 2- Sina Just , 3- Kamal Gerami , 4- Zanyar Minooi , 5- Abdolrahman Afshar , 6- Jamal Gerami, 7- Sirvan Badakhsh , 8- Kamran Afsari , 9- Bistoon Arjangi , 10- Amir Arjangi, 11-Baset Afshar, 12- Mohammad Grami, 13- Dana Grami, 14-Bahman Grami, 15-Mohammad Parvazah,16- Omid Faraji, 17- Mohammad Jaset, 18- Mohammad Arjangi.
It should be noted that Five other young men from Ney village had previously been arrested on similar charges and tortured and detained.
Arbitrary detention, prevention of participation in ceremonies such as Nowruz and the denial of political activity, and support for parties are the most obvious violations of basic human rights in Iran, and especially in Kurdistan.
