According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; On Wednesday, May 10, 2023, two children named “Behzad Valilo” son of Abdullah and “Peyman Valilo” son of Ali, from the village of “Panjarlo” died due to car accident and several other students were injured.
In this incident, another citizen with the identity of "Abdullah Walilo" from the same village also lost his life.
The lack of access to the possibility of schools in the Kurdistan region is while according to Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, education should be provided free of charge to all, at least in the elementary and basic levels.
It is also referred to in paragraph 27 of the same declaration, while primary education should be compulsory and access to higher education should be done equally for all people and based on individual merits.
