It should be mentioned; He was arrested in Tehran on May 30, 2010, and transferred to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj in April 2012, after six months in solitary confinement in the Ministry of Intelligence, Ward 209. Mr. Rezaei, who is serving a 15-year sentence in prison, suffers from diabetes and needs insulin injections.
I would like to inform you that I, Houshang Rezaei, went through all the legal path from January 2022 to April 2022, and they have promised me that I would be free next week or in ten days, and each time They gave me false promise, and each of them, whether a judge or any other official I went to, told me to write a parole. They promised me that I will be free in ten days but after they left, I would not receive any more answers.
During the two times I went on leave in March of last year, each time I went to the Holy Court, the same promises were made again by the judge in charge of the political prisoners, and he made false promises again in the same way, and this is always the case. The question for me was, if everyone is satisfied, then where is the problem?
But the only answer I came up with was that, as always, the security services are the main obstacle, and this was in line with the lack of independence of the prosecutor, so there was only one way for me to weave, and that was to reach out to everyone. I will go on a hunger and water strike knowing that I will suffer irreparable damage from not taking water and medicine with my illness.
