According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Saturday, 6 December 2025, a 39-year-old woman identified as Leila Azari, a mother and originally from Gheyb Ali village in the Central District of Shahindezh, and residing in Bukan, was killed by her former husband.
According to Hana’s sources, her body was found in Kani Allahseydeh village, in Bukan County, and the perpetrator turned himself in to the Bukan Criminal Investigation Department after the incident.
The same source added that Ms. Azari had separated from her husband two years earlier and had been living with her sister in Bukan.
