According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner identified as Kiomars Ghobadi, a native of Ilam County, was carried out at Ilam Central Prison.
It is worth noting that the prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
