Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, 27 November 2025, a Kurdish citizen identified as Khaled Elahi, from the city of Mahabad, was arrested by plainclothes security forces.
According to Hana’s sources, Mr. Elahi was detained at the Azadi Crossroads in Mahabad by plainclothes agents and subsequently transferred to an undisclosed location.
It should be noted that, as of the time of publishing this report, no information is available regarding his fate or the place of his detention.
