According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, 8 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Keyvan Rezaei, a follower of the Yarsan faith and a resident of Kermanshah, lost his life during protests in the Dareh-Derizh neighborhood after being directly shot with live ammunition by repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
