According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, March 9, 2025, Jalil Mohammadi, a labor activist, and Kamal Akherati, a civil activist from Sanandaj, were temporarily released from Sanandaj Prison on 500 million toman bail until the completion of their legal proceedings.
It is worth noting that these two individuals were arrested on Thursday, January 23, 2025, by security forces in connection with a strike by shopkeepers and merchants protesting the death sentences of Pakhshan Azizi and Vrisheh Moradi.
