January protests / Unlawful arrest of five citizens, including two children by security forces in Kamyaran

According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, between 10 and 13 January 2026, at least five young citizens—including two children and two teenagers—were arrested by security forces in Kamyaran County without judicial warrants and transferred to undisclosed locations.

The names of those arrested are as follows:
• Danial Nadimi, 17 years old, son of Seddigh, from Gazarkhani village, resident of Kamyaran
• Artin Nadimi and Mardin Nadimi, 19-year-old twin brothers, sons of Hatem, from Gazarkhani village
• Araz Sabouri, 16 years old, son of Masoud, from Gazarkhani village
• Mohammad Marabi, from Marab village, Kamyaran County

As of the time of drafting this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges brought against these individuals, or their place of detention.

The families of the detainees remain in complete uncertainty regarding the condition of their children, and their efforts to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful.

Hana Human Rights Organization has expressed deep concern over the unlawful arrest of children and teenagers and has called on the relevant authorities to immediately clarify the detainees’ status, place of detention, and legal situation, and to ensure their unconditional release.
