According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, during the January 2026 protests, a Kurdish citizen identified as “Naser Jalilian,” from Malekshahi County in illam Province, was injured as a result of direct gunfire by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and, due to the severity of his injuries, suffered an amputation.
According to further reports, Naser Jalilian underwent surgery because of the severe injuries to his leg, and doctors were forced to amputate his left leg.
