The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Friday, January 9, 2026, Mohammadreza Khani, a 17-year-old teenager from Harsin, Kermanshah Province, lost his life during the popular protests in Mehrshahr, Karaj, as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
