According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, January 9, 2026, a 16-year-old child identified as Mohammadreza Abdolrahmanzadeh, son of Naji, from Patehvir village, affiliated with the Central District of Salmas County, was killed after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in Tehran.

According to received reports, the body of this 16-year-old child has been transferred to Qom and has not yet been handed over to his family.
