According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Friday, January 9, 2026, a 29-year-old Kurdish citizen named Mohammad Shamsi, from Dareh Shahr in Ilam Province, was arrested by security forces in Karaj and transferred to an unknown location.
