According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a 62-year-old Kurdish citizen named Mohammad Ali Mohammadian, from Qaragol (Qarewol) village in Divandareh County and residing in Tehran, lost his life after being directly shot by repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protest gatherings in Tehran.
According to Hana’s sources, the body of Mohammad Ali Mohammadian was buried in his hometown.
