Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Moein Abbaspour, from illam Province, was killed during popular protests in the city of Karaj after being directly shot with live ammunition by the regime’s suppressive forces.
