The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a 26-year-old Kurdish citizen identified as Milad Ganjdoost, a nurse and athlete from Islamabad-e Gharb, lost his life during the popular protests in the city as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Hana’s sources, his body was buried in the village of Seyed Ayaz.
