Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, a married Kurdish citizen identified as Milad Farokhi, father of two children and from Eslamabad-e Gharb, was killed after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in the city.
According to received reports, his body was buried on January 10, 2026 in the cemetery of Vanaei village.
