According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Kianoush Shirinbayat, from Sahneh County in Kermanshah Province, lost his life during the popular protests in Karaj as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
