Hana Human Rights Organization has been informed that on Thursday, 8 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Erfan Jameh Shorani, from Kermanshah, lost his life after being directly shot with live ammunition by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in the city.
