The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Amir Sadeghi, 33 years old, a native of Bojnord County in North Khorasan Province, was killed during the popular protests in Tehran after being directly shot with live ammunition by the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to reports received, Amir Sadeghi’s body was buried on January 29, 2026, at the Masoumzadeh Cemetery in Bojnord County.
The pattern repeats with a bleak precision: live fire against civilians, delayed burials, and families left to piece together the truth in the aftermath of state violence.
