According to information received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, 8 January 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Amir Pashazadeh, from Bijar County, was killed during popular protests in Islamshahr, Tehran Province, as a result of direct fire with live ammunition by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Amir Pashazadeh was married and the father of two children.
