The Hana Human Rights Organization has learned that on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a 16-year-old Kurdish citizen identified as Alireza Seyedi, originally from Abdanan County in illam Province and residing in Tehran, was killed during popular protests in the city after being directly shot by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
