According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen identified as Alireza Rezaei, from Harsin County, lost his life after being shot with live ammunition by repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran during popular protests in Andisheh Township, Shahriar, Tehran.
