January protests / Ahmad Khosravani a Sharif University of Technology student and basketball player lost his life following gunfire by repressive forces in Tehran

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, a 21-year-old Kurdish citizen named Ahmad Khosravani, from Eivan-e Gharb and resident of Tehran, lost his life during the popular protests in Tehran as a result of direct gunfire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
