According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026, a Kurdish citizen named Meysam Ghanbari-rad, from Kermanshah, lost his life during popular protests in the city of Parand, a part of Robat Karim County, after being shot in the heart by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
