According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, Jamal Asadi, a civil activist from Sanandaj, was arrested by forces of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and transferred to an undisclosed location.
Based on the information obtained, Mr. Asadi’s arrest was carried out at his private residence and without the presentation of any judicial warrant. His mobile phone was also confiscated by security forces during the arrest.
As of the time of publication of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen.
